One late 1950’s, stock, original motor (Briggs??), the other late 50’s- early 60’s, modified with newer replacement Honda 5.5 hp. Both projects need minor work. Cool off-road mini’s originally made for hunters/ farmers and backwoods use. Great deal for the two. The 403 had the same gearing as the 414 climber. It had 48 teeth on the second jackshaft sprocket. The standard 404 had 40 teeth and was a little faster. It may not be fast but it will not give up on a hill. Replacing a worn belt may give you a bit more speed but these gotes weren't built to race.
